Rule 39
Adjudication Procedure

(1) After hearing the evidence in the case, the military court or the military special court shall keep the party present on the day appointed to discuss the case, decide on the matter to be discussed and decided, and the opinion of the decision shall be written in the opinion book on the same day and stamped by the chairman and members.
(2) The following matters shall be mentioned in the judgment according to this rule:-
(a) Summary of the case,
(b) Matters not agreed in the case and matters to be decided,
(c) Statement of pleas and defenses of the defendant,
(d) Evidence adduced by the parties,
(e) Questions relating to jurisdiction of Courts,
(f) Grounds and Reasons for Decision,
(g) Punishment to the defendant if the claim is upheld,
(h) whether or not to appeal and, if so, to the court to which the appeal should be made,
(i) Other essential matters.
(3) The format of the judgment shall be as per schedule-9.
